The Coorie (Kuiri)
Enjoying life the Scottish way. Gaelic translation to nestle or snuggle, to be cosy.
Born out of darker times and lockdowns, The Coorie has become a firm favourite of our locals and regulars alike. Occupying one of the most enviable spots on the banks of the majestic River Tay, The Coorie with its glass walls offers views that can take your breath away all year round as well as the most sought after tables for dining at The Inn on The Tay.
Built by our locals, The Coorie is now at the heart on The Inn, with its log burning stove for winter months and bifolding doors that can be thrown open in the summer.
The Coorie has already become a spectacular wedding venue, a dancefloor as required, a must for residents to enjoy their breakfast and so much more.
BAR
Our Bar is a lovely airy space to spend a few hours relaxing and enjoying the summer months. During autumn & winter we light the log burner and candles flicker away to create a warm & cosy space to coorie in and enjoy the craic!
Our lovely cocktail list changes by the season but you can always find our favourites including the Ginn on the Tay, Kir Royale and Espresso Martini to name a few.
Our well-stocked Gantry has an enviable range of Malts including many of the delicious tipples available from our Local Distilleries, twenty plus Gins and a Wine List with 24 bottles to choose from and 14 wines available By The Glass all chosen by Geoff & Josie from the great range at Hallgarten & Novum Wines. Our gantry is complemented by a great range of draft beers & lagers on the fonts and a lovely selection of craft beers, lagers & ciders.
The Bar is dog friendly as well, so whether you like to sink into our sofa seating or take in your surroundings at one of our Whisky Barrel tables – The Bar at The Inn on the Tay is the place to be.
We can’t wait to welcome you and then welcome you again.
